myth or military document??!!

I am starting to believe that maybe Ramayana has an iota of truth above it.. what has changed my opinion... the fact that well before any scientific findings relating humans to monkeys.. :-|....  we had monkey-men being mentioned in the ramayana... maybe the ramayana timeline would be the time of overlap when humans were evolving from apes...or something..

Also, the fact that the ramayana mentions geographies across the length and the breadth of the country with exact local details like the presence of hills/caves/trees etc. at pin-pointed locations make it very hard for a con-man .. unless he travelled for 20 years and religiously maintained a blog of the geography while simultaneously weaving a story.... it would be much easier to post were all this the truth..

Then the fact that many instruments/weapons/means of transport are not out of the world..
1. ravana's kidnap vehicle :you could draw paralles with aircrafts of today..
2. all the major action heroes killing thousands of opposition troops with a single shot while not affecting  a single of his own troops....: weapons of mass destruction/chemical weapons.. which can destroy armies together..while if your ppl have the anti-dote..won't affect them...
3. flying ppl: jetpacks probably.. :-\

Of course.. I am still a die-hard athiest... just that maybe ramayana has some truth to it.. and as it was passed down over generations ... it has been mis-interpreted intentionally/unintentionally .. and we have a twisted version of some old military documents...


talking of military documents... India has destroyed the docs related to 1971 war.. sweet... nice to see the indian govt. doing something decisively... hehe..
